Quick, easy& fresh lamb stew

I came up with a delicious and oh-so-easy meal to share.

  1. I started with one pound of frozen lamb stew meat

  2. Instead of thawing first, I simply put it in my large frying pan with a cup of water and salt and pepper. I turned on the heat and added the lid.

  3. 10 minutes later: Add a bunch of potatoes, cut them up in you want or just leave them whole and also stir to break apart the formerly frozen meat pieces. You could also add an onion and some carrot pieces if you want.

  4. After 20 minutes it was done. I checked the seasoning and adjusted.

  5. Put a single portion in a bowl and add some chunks of cucumber, some fermented tomatoes. Top with fresh oregano, feta cheese and a squeeze of lemon.

  6. Tahini sauce would be amazing on this, too.

The best part, and I am sure that made it taste especially excellent, is that I ended up with a completely delicious and satisfying dinner on a night I hadn't even remembered to thaw anything. And usually I would slow cook stew meat, but this worked beautifully.
