It is important that your fresh and frozen food is handled correctly and safely, including making sure you are able to bring it to proper storage as soon as possible. Our delivery software helps you plan around the precise delivery time of your goods.
When you order for home delivery on Tuesdays (Eugene and Springfield) or Saturdays (Corvallis), the software will help you stay in touch with the delivery. The software we use to coordinate deliveries is called Optimo Route, and it will send text notifications about the status of your order.
Here's how it works:
The day before you expect delivery, you should get a text message from Optimo confirming that we have you scheduled. It contains the date and the estimated time. For more precise tracking, click on the link in the text.
On delivery day, we pack up your order and load the trucks. See our team at work!
Once the truck leaves the farm, the app will update you on your expected delivery time.
If the delivery time changes while the driver is out, the tracking screen will update.
You can also see a map with your address in the center. If you zoom out you can locate the truck on the map as well.
Once the order is 30 minutes away, the app will give you a specific countdown to arrival.
When our driver arrives at your house, the status of your delivery will read: Delivery In Progress. The driver then selects your items from the truck and brings them to your cooler (or follows other specific delivery instructions).
